The San Diego Viennese Waltz Club

All our lists are free; fairly low-volume (except preceding a Waltz Ball!); involve no obligation; and of course may be unsubscribed from at any time.

Email Privacy at Yahoo Groups:

1. Your email address is not shared at Yahoo.
2. Yahoo does not send unsolicited email to subscribers who don't wish it.
3. If you subscribe your email address using one of our forms below, you do not need a Yahoo Groups ID.

Email Privacy on our lists:

1. Subscriptions are at the discretion of the List Moderators.
2. Messages are subject to approval by the List Moderators.
3. Your email address is invisible to other members unless and until you post to San Diego Waltz or Los Angeles Waltz.
4. We do not sell or share email addresses.

Safe, speedy, on-topic:

1. All Waltz Club posts are text-only: no attachments, no photos, no html, no viruses.
2. Text-only messages are quick to download, and safe.
3. We concentrate on waltzing and related topics such as classical concerts, opera and operetta, and period costuming for Waltz Balls.
4. No spam.

Options to receive mail:

1. Individual Messages — whenever posted.
2. Daily Digest — you receive one combined email, with posts (if any) made that day. For this, sign up at Yahoo Groups or ask the List Moderators.
    

We also have San Diego Waltz Event, our very low-volume Announcements-Only list. Useful for those whose email account is at work and cannot receive much non-business email; and for those who may come to waltz events, but don't wish to be involved in discussion, or receive early or tentative notifications. Events are posted to this list as plans become final. If you subscribe to the main list above, you do not need to subscribe to the Waltz Events list. All event announcements also are posted to the main list.

And we have Los Angeles Waltz, our very low-volume (so far!) announcement and discussion list for Los Angeles / Orange County / Inland Empire waltz fans. Major San Diego events (all Waltz Balls) and occasional lesser events also are posted to the Los Angeles list as plans become final.

The San Diego Vintage Dancers maintain an announcement and discussion list for period dances and classes; especially the Friday evening classes, some of which include Viennese Waltz. If you only are interested in Viennese Waltz, you should subscribe to either of the San Diego Waltz lists above; you do not need to subscribe to the Vintage list. All Viennese Waltz announcements of the Vintage Dancers also are posted to the San Diego Waltz lists.
